Title - Medusa
The fierce Medusa with her snake hair adorned with the emblematic naked summers shell on the forehead, and the oceanic flower on the rim, painted in vivid colours. In the artist's interpretation, Medusa was never turned into a monster as a punishment. It was an act of sacred protection. The ability to turn her enemies into stone was not a curse but a gift. Her fierce appearance guarding her pure soul. A divine transformation & rebirth.
By applying sea water onto the bisque surfaces, the artist invites the unpredictable textures of salt to slightly mark each piece, transforming the surface into a record of both artistic intent and organic reaction.
